Profile

Talya empowers clients to align their financial life with their values and personal priorities. Through ongoing consultations, Talya helps clients map and maintain an investment approach toward objectives such as income in retirement, supporting a family member with special needs, socially responsible investing, philanthropic giving and legacy planning. Previously Talya worked in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets. 



Talya holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification as well as the Chartered Special Needs Consultant® and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM designations. She feels that she has a deep understanding of all components of wealth management and she is committed to professionalism. She is a 2006 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) where she majored in Economic History and Talmud (Jewish Law). Talya also holds an M.A. in education from JTS. She is an active community volunteer and serves as a trustee of JTS and of Hadar Institute. Talya lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and their three children.
